The Trip:
The arid ranges of Australia offer some of the finest scenery anywhere in the world. The combination of spectacular peaks, rugged gorges and the rich colours of the desert offer artists a stunning visual palette. The West MacDonnell Ranges and the Larapinta Trail have become iconic examples of the desert ranges experience. The watercolours of Albert Namatjira and the Hermansburg artists have been inspired by this extraordinary country. Aiming to create comprehensive artistic expedition, we have selected some of the best most scenic locations in the West MacDonnell Ranges with plenty of time to study the diversity of scenery. And like our art expeditions, you will enjoy vehicle access to wilderness locations as well as short guided walks with just a daypack while our comfortable camps are set-up with 4WD vehicle support.
